The ROHO Charitable Trust and Fishing Club is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and their 45th fishing tournament. The club has begun selling tickets for their annual fishing tournament at the Beach Island Resort and Marina. The tournament will be held from 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on May 2 and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 3. All of the proceeds from ticket sells are used for the annual ROHO Christmas Shopping Spree.
Tickets are $5 each or $150 for 30 tickets, which supports a child for the shopping spree. The $150 allows the child to shop for $110 in clothes and $40 in toys. With the sponsorship, you are registered for door prizes, fishing and cash prizes if you are the winner in your catch category. Participants do not have to be present to win.
Drawings will be held on Sunday at closing.
